You must understand the nature of salvation you have been given if you are saved. From God\’s side of things, He has given us such a great salvation that if you neglect it, you do so at your own peril (Hebrews 3:1). But if you embrace it, there are three crucial experiences that installs the reality, gravity and finality of salvation into your experience.
Our text underscores them in their divine sequence:

  1. Sanctified
  2. Preserved
  3. Called
\"\"

These are eternal realities downloaded into your experience by faith. You don\’t produce them, you simply acknowledge and accept them with thanksgiving. As the download begins, you are prompted to see your responsibility in staying the process until you lay hold of these treasures and make them your own.

That\’s what Peter meant when He said by the Holy Ghost to, \”…give diligence to make your calling and election sure: FOR IF YE DO THESE THINGS, YE SHALL NEVER FALL:\” 2 Peter 1:10 KJV (emphasis mine). Let\’s note the efficacy of what God has done, as long as we pursue it, in spite of the temptations we may have to doubt it. You will never fall, I will never fall, if we do what God has told us to do.
