This book is for young African leaders who want to make a difference personally, professionally, and in the world around them. You may not lead a team in an organisation, you may not lead a group in a Church, but if you have a home, you are responsible to lead that home. Whether you are a man or a woman.
By successfully leading ourselves to personal and professional success, through dedication to personal growth, we are prepared to lead others also. The Bible corroborates this in 1 Timothy 3:5 (Legacy Standard Bible), “If a man does not know how to lead his own household, how will he take care of the church of God?” If we cannot successfully lead our own lives, we aren’t qualified to lead others. Personal growth, as a prerequisite for excellence in leadership, is the focus of this book.
